On the 26th minute the stadium rose as one to applause his achievement and sing his name. Had this been a Hollywood production then it would’ve ended with Coppinger winning the match with a wonder goal, but alas this isn’t the movies, this is League One. The Keepmoat Stadium was bathed in brilliant sunshine for the visit of Oxford United. The first half somewhat mirrored the lower table position of the two teams as there was plenty of promise from both camps, but also a distinct lack of quality in the final third.
